Hi there! If you’re looking for a high-impact position in an ambitious software house, we’ve got a match for you!
We are seeking an Engineer to collaborate with our client, a Norwegian financial company offering various products, including insurance and refinancing. Our customer is developing an application that allows you, among others, tos easily pay invoices. It also allows refinancing loans, making loans, or even brokering insurance for any purpose.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs using Django and asyncio to ensure performance and scalability.
- Building and integrating data-driven features that support analytics and automation.
- Supporting data preparation for analytical and machine learning tasks.
- Collaborating on ETL pipeline development and data workflows under the guidance of Senior Engineers.
- Working with relational databases to ensure efficient data storage, access, anonymisation, and transformation.
- Integration with external services.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience as a Python Engineer (including Django).
- Hands-on practice with API and microservices.
- Proficiency in FastAPI.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL
Nice to have:
- Experience with Data Lakes.
- At least basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with container orchestration, preferably Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Golang.
