• Develop and maintain network discovery features — implement SNMP walks, SSH command parsers, and ping sweeps to discover devices, interfaces, VLANs, and neighbor relationships across customer networks
• Build and extend REST API endpoints — add new handlers, services, and database models in the core API server for managing scans, agents, devices, and topology data
• Write and maintain protobuf definitions — define data contracts shared between core, agent, and processor modules; generate and integrate gRPC code
• Develop the remote agent — extend the CLI-based agent that runs on customer premises, handling SNMP/SSH scanning, local SQLite caching, and gRPC-based result streaming back to core
• Design and run database migrations — create Atlas migration files for schema changes, validate migration safety, and manage checksum integrity
• Write unit and BDD tests — maintain test coverage with standard Go tests and Godog BDD feature specs; ensure all tests pass before merging
• Package and distribute the agent — build .deb packages via GoReleaser, publish to Azure Blob, manage systemd service configurations
