We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Engineer for a consists of workspace for process data aggregation, analytics, and sharing throughout the clinical and commercial lifecycle and across the supply chain. The application is written in Ruby on Rails and managed by Git. The client insists on code quality, testing, building automation tools, and high availability.

What will be your responsibilities?
- Designing, developing, and implementing independently.
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient Ruby code following the best software development practices.
- Resolving assigned tasks.
- Meetings with the team.
- Taking part in daily stand-ups with a client from the US.
- Thinking out of the box to come up with solutions to problems that seem not to have one.
- Trying new technologies and applying them if they make sense and solving customer problems.
- Designing technical documentation.
- Supporting people within the team/organization.
Requirements
Must have:
- At least 3 years of exp. working in a similar position
- Ability to work in US time zones (at least till 9 pm CET).
- Framework: Ruby on Rails
- Languages: Ruby, SQL, JavaScript ES6, SCSS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Good English skills (min. B2).
Nice to have:
- Notable backend gems: devise, redis, sidekiq, carrierwave, rspec-rails
- Notable frontend libraries: jQuery, bootstrap, plotly, kendo

Recruitment process
