As an SDR/BDR based in Pune, India, you will be the front line of our sales team, responsible for generating new business opportunities and qualifying leads to build a healthy sales pipeline primarily within the North American and European markets. This pivotal role is focused on the initial stages of the sales process: research, cross-cultural outreach, and qualification, setting up the Account Executives for success in these key international regions.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Research and identify new potential customers (prospects) who fit the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) specifically across the North American (NA) and European (EU) regions.
  • Focus on outbound prospecting by actively seeking new business opportunities and target accounts in NA and EU time zones.
  • Qualify inbound leads generated through marketing efforts originating from NA and EU.
  • Initiate contact with prospects via personalized outreach, email campaigns, and social media (like LinkedIn), adapting communication styles for North American and European business cultures.
  • Conduct outreach and scheduled calls that align with customer working hours in both North American and European time zones.
  • Assess the quality of international leads to ensure they meet specific criteria (e.g., using frameworks like BANT: Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between internal geographically located teams and stakeholders in NA/EU to ensure all parties are aligned on lead quality, market feedback, and sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build rapport and clearly pitch products/services.
  • Must be willing and able to work shifts that cover the core business hours of North America and Europe from the Pune, India location.
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural communication and understanding, particularly with North American and European business customs.
  • A persistent, respectful, and results-oriented approach to outreach.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and internal networking skills.
